while they have a lovely location, I must say my room was absolutely tiny, and the bathroom felt like a closet. I also expected complimentary toiletries like shampoo, too—such a basic standard! After all this, a welcome gift would've been appropriate. Almost left a good review, but just couldn’t overlook these oversights.

Beautiful breakfast room with excellent coffee.
We had to navigate dark stairs which made carrying luggage a real hassle. Additionally, the atmosphere was disturbed by neighbors smoking on their balcony, ruining our chance to enjoy the view.

There’s a cozy patio cafe and a nice spot to unwind with a book, which added to our relaxation. It would’ve been great to have tea and coffee facilities in the room, but overall, it was a delightful experience! 😊

A delightful stay near Cochem
The warm welcome at reception set the tone for our stay. Enjoyed breakfast with a variety of high-quality options, and the comfortable room provided beautiful views of the river and castle.
Although there was no opportunity for dinner at the hotel during our stay, the host offered great local recommendations, and we found excellent dining nearby.
